A school district in Rochester, NY is seeking three skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), including candidates with Clinical Fellowship (CF) status, to provide support for students aged 3 to 22 during the 2025-2026 school year. This contracted position offers an opportunity to work district-wide, serving K-12 students as well as young adults within the education system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments and interventions to students with diverse communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district guidelines.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to team meetings to enhance student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials or eligibility.
- Candidates with Clinical Fellowship status are encouraged to apply.
- Valid New York State license to practice as an SLP is required.
- Experience working with students from preschool through young adulthood is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Position Details:
- Location: Rochester, NY
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, up to 7 hours paid daily, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch (7.5 hours on premises).
- Contract Duration: September 2, 2025, to June 26, 2026
- Caseload: To be determined, serving ages 3-22.
- District-wide assignment within Monroe 2 BOCES.
